style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">20 week course, study days are once a week (150 hours) virtually via MS teams with Edinburgh College or NHSL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Entry Criteria: candidates must have evidence of previous study at SCQF Level 6 (SVQ2 or National progression award).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"flex-basis:25%\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Units of study<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The award consists of three units:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Communication and Inter-professional Working in care<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Principles of Professional Practice (PPP)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting Health and Wellbeing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Extra unit on Human Body:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pre course workbook<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Closed book assessment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Human body project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assessments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Principles of Professional Practice (PPP) delivered in the first 10 weeks by EC staff (2 assignments):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Compare and contrast essay (2000)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Case study person centred care (1000)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Communication and Inter-professional Working in care (2 assignments):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Group PowerPoint presentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Individual essay on contribution to presentation using team working theorists (750 words)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Promoting Health and Wellbeing (2 academic assignments):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reflective Account on a significant event Using Gibbs reflective cycle (1000)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Care Study assessment and care of an individual with acute presentation\/ long-time condition (1500 words)<br>All assignments will evidence\/ research based, and Harvard referenced<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Staff participating in the course will be supervised\/mentored in practice, work-based competences will be area specific and existing
