{"id":424,"date":"2025-01-29T09:58:48","date_gmt":"2025-01-29T09:58:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staff.nhslothian.scot\/cet\/scottish-neonatal-resuscitation-course\/"},"modified":"2025-06-24T08:29:07","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T07:29:07","slug":"scottish-neonatal-resuscitation-course","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/staff.nhslothian.scot\/cet\/registered-midwives\/scottish-neonatal-resuscitation-course\/","title":{"rendered":"Scottish Neonatal resuscitation course"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This course is designed and delivered jointly between NHS Lothian and the Scottish Multiprofessional Maternity Development Programme (SMMDP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of the course is to support staff in community and hospital-based settings, to develop and update knowledge and skills in the ABC of neonatal resuscitation.&nbsp; This is a professional requirement for all midwives.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This interactive half study day includes pre-course learning, online lectures and competency assessed skill stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Target staff group<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Registered nurse or midwife working within midwifery or neonatology in NHS Lothian.&nbsp; The course is also open to ambulance technicians and paramedics working for Scottish Ambulance Services.
