Lothian.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-top eplus-C9jSU6 is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:52.83%\">\n<p>If you are a member of staff and you need to raise a concern about patient safety, working conditions or wrongdoing you should firstly speak to your manager, supervisor or clinical director, either informally or formally. If this is not appropriate you also have the following options:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contact a Trade Union Representative<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contact a Speak Up Advocate by emailing:&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:SpeakUP@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk\">SpeakUP@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have exhausted these options you should follow the National Whistleblowing process. The new National Whistleblowing Standards for the NHS in Scotland came into force 1 April 2021 and apply to anyone working to deliver NHS services.
