We are a team of specialist occupational health doctors and nurses for all NHS Lothian staff, including GP\u2019s and their practise staff,  with any medical condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What For?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n

Prevention of work-related ill-health . Assessment of fitness for work and work- related problems. Management and advice on the interaction between  health and work , from recruitment to retirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A confidential assessment will lead to an advisory report being provided to the manager and employee. An opinion on fitness for work will be offered , and there may be recommendations to adjust hours, duties, or place of work for the manager to consider.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Vocational Rehabilitation Service<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are a team of specialist Occupational Therapists offering employee work rehabilitation for all NHS Lothian staff and employees of West Lothian HSCP with any health condition or life issues having a functional impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Occupational Therapy assessment & rehabilitation to assist employees to better manage their health and work needs through a managed process of advice, supported self-management, coaching and work focused therapies (vocational rehabilitation).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Work place and transferable skills assessments can be undertaken for job support & redeployment purposes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
