What’s been happening?  

1. Our quarterly newsletter is OUT NOW – if you haven’t seen it yet, have a look, and let us know what you think!

2. Further dates have been released for the National Support and Supervision: Skills Sessions which are running in 2025 and early 2026. Find out more, including how to sign up, here.
3. The Annual Realistic Medicine Conference took place in May with inspirational speakers encouraging ‘careful and kind care’. Access the event flyer here, with links to the keynote speakers, resources, publications and survey result
4. NHS Education for Scotland have advertised a new expression of interest (EOI):  “Delivery of the Professional Development AwardEducation Training and Assessment to a cohort of six career level four Associate Practice Educators and/or Assistant Practitioners between September 2025 and March 2026.”

5. Launch of AHP Public Health Community of Practice: all AHPs across all levels are invited to attend the launch of the new AHP Public Health Community of Practice, to help explore how AHPs can lead, influence, innovate and contribute to public health. This session will feature a mix of interactive activities, including polls, short facilitated breakout rooms and using the chat or Q+A function.
   • Sign up to the launch on MS Teams (Tue, Jul 22, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM)
   • This work supports the implementation of the Scottish allied health professions public health strategic framework implementation plan: 2022 to 2027
