The AHP Practice Education Leads work with clinicians and the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to support AHP practice placements within NHS Lothian. NHS Lothian has signed placement agreements with Glasgow Caledonian University, Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh Napier University, Robert Gordon University and Strathclyde University. These agreements highlight the roles and responsibilities of both the Board and the HEI, regarding the provision of practice placements, to ensure we are growing fit for purpose staff for our future NHS Workforce.
