NHS Lothian Clinical Education and Training Team (CET) is made up of several teams who provide education and training to a variety of staff. CET priorities are centred around patient safety and staff experience whilst building on knowledge, understanding, competence and professional practice of our current and future workforce.
The Clinical Education Team work on service initiatives which play a crucial role on improving workforce capacity, retention, and organisational performance.
CET is made up of the following workstream categories. Each category involves a team who provide various courses and support that are relevant to an individual’s job role and responsibilities.
