The candidate is supported by a college-based assessor from West Lothian College.
Nomination and application form to be completed by manager and emailed to Programme coordinator
Candidate completion expected six months.

Or SVQ Healthcare Support (Clinical) SCQF level 6
To evidence the course outcomes for the SVQ students have to undertake the following
- Complete an electronic portfolio of work by writing reflective accounts based on the care they deliver to demonstrate their practical, theoretical knowledge and understanding against the standards set with the SVQ units.
- The college-based assessor will induct the student on to the award and provide the student with access to an electronic portfolio.
- The assessor liaises with the student to monitor progress, assess and mark the student’s work against the SVQ units.
There will be an expectation that staff participating in the course will be supervised/ mentored in practice and that work based competences will be area specific and existing competences can be utilised with the course providing the underpinning knowledge.
