End-of-life care Symptom Management for RNs in Acute settings      This full day, face-to-face session will engage Registered Nurses within acute settings on how to assess and manage common palliative symptoms such as:
Pain
Nausea and vomiting
Fatigue, Anxiety and Breathlessness
Delirium and Terminal Agitation
Common Palliative Care Emergencies
It will also include identifying when specialist advice is required.    
End-of-life care Symptom Management for RNs in Community settings  This full day, face-to-face session will engage Registered Nurses within acute settings on how to assess and manage common palliative symptoms such as:

Managing Difficult Clinical ConversationsFacilitated discussions, around Managing Difficult Clinical Conversations in a clinical setting that includes experiential learning.
Breaking bad news in a clinical setting (RNs/HCSW)Facilitated discussions, around breaking bad news in a clinical setting that includes experiential learning.
Managing Frailty and Long-term Conditions in community settingsYou will learn about Frailty and Frailty assessment as well as how to manage Long-term conditions.  We will introduce supporting self-management and how to empower the people who are accessing your service.
Final Act of CareWe will talk about death and dying, considering the bereavement service, spiritual care, tissue/organ donation, funeral directors, and personal care after death
