Aim of the session
To provide a safe space to gain the knowledge and skills to foster culturally sensitive and inclusive teams and services.
What participants will gain from the session
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Understand the concept of cultural humility and why it matters.
- Recognise the value of understanding and respecting different cultures and backgrounds
- Developing participants’ skills to engage in respectful and meaningful conversations about culture, heritage and background.
- Reflect on personal assumptions and biases.
- Apply practical approaches to culturally responsive care.
- Access further resources for continued learning.
