Aim of the session
To improve understanding of the experiences of trans and non-binary people and give participants confidence to promote inclusive practices that benefit everyone.
What participants will gain from the session
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Understand key terms related to trans and non-binary identities.
- Recognise common barriers and inequality trans and non-binary communities face.
- Learn about legal and ethical duties in trans-inclusive care.
- Reflect on the lived experiences of trans and non-binary people.
- Identify simple, practical actions to support inclusive practice
- Access information about further learning and resources
