Corporate Induction Overview

Welcome to NHS Lothian, we are delighted that you have chosen to join us.

We’re excited to have you join us and want to ensure you feel well-prepared and integrated into our organisation.

Here’s an overview of what you can expect from our Corporate Induction programme:

• The Corporate Induction marks the start of a twelve-week induction pathway designed to accommodate various learning styles and promote self-directed learning.
• The initial Corporate Induction covers essential safety-related topics relevant to all staff across all roles and levels within our organisation.
• Following this, some employees (depending on role) will undergo additional role-specific training through a Clinical Induction.

Local Area Induction

• Induction continues in your local area with support from your manager and colleagues.
• It’s a collaborative process, so be proactive in taking what you need from both the corporate and local induction.
• Don’t hesitate to ask questions and seek clarification whenever necessary.
