Information for Clinical – Registered Nurses (Paediatric/Neonatal/CAMHS)
This two-day programme is for Child Health Nurses and CAMHS nurses who will be working within RHCYP, St John’s Hospital Children’s Ward, the Neonatal Unit at ERI and the Melville Unit. The programme covers a wide range of topics which have been requested and agreed by clinical service leads and are relevant for registered practitioners new to NHS Lothian.
Both days will be in SPHERE (3rd floor) in RHCYP September-January. Out with these times, a short induction will be provided by the Clinical Educator.

- Newly qualified RN pathway
- Education pathway
- Infection Control
- Fluid balance
- Medicine management
- Hospital tour
