Practice Supervisor Preparation

Follow the process below  :

Step 1

Discuss Practice Supervisor preparation with your line manager and download/ print  Practice Supervisor and/ or Practice Assessor, Knowledge, Skills and Experience Guide

Step 2

Complete the reflective self assessment for the practice supervisor role, this can be found within this Guide and Record. This will help you to identify areas for development

Access all the relevant identifed  learning resources from Appendix 1 of the document : Pick and Mix Learning Resources for Practice Supervisor and Practice Assessor Roles. 

These have been included below in a table for your ease. Once you have completed the required learning

Step 3

Sign the relevant self declaration form this can be found in your Practice Supervisor Preparation , Knowledge, Skills and Experience Guide and Record 

 Discuss with your line manager that you have completed the practice supervisor preparation, this should then be recorded on e- roster

Practice Supervisor and Practice Assessor, Knowledge, Skills and Experience Guide

This guide provides  a guide and record which includes a self asessment, access to learning resources and provides a record to document the evidence that you have undertaken preparation.

These are optional and you do not have to undertake each unit or in any specific orser. Your self assessment should direct you to your own required learning
